Family-owned cleaning & painting in Seattle & the Eastside

Two people, one promise: treat your home like it’s ours.

Brush & Broom LLP started as a simple idea at our own kitchen table: what if hiring help for your home actually felt easy, honest, and human?

No revolving crews. No disappearing contractors. Just a husband-and-wife team who show up, do what we say we will, and leave your place better than we found it.

When you reach out, you’re talking directly to the two of us—not a call center or an app.

Our story

Built on small-town work ethic, in the middle of a busy city

We didn’t build this company with investors or fancy software. We built it with elbow grease, honest conversations, and the belief that showing up and caring still matters.

Like a lot of families, we hit a point where we were juggling everything at once—work, kids, rent increases, and trying to keep our own home from falling apart in the chaos of real life.

We saw neighbors going through the same thing. They either did everything themselves and burned out, or they hired people who were late, rushed, or treated their homes like just another job on a busy schedule.

So we asked a simple question: what if we created the kind of company we wished we could hire—one that respected people’s time, budgets, and homes as much as they do?

We cleaned our first few houses the way we would want our own cleaned. Then we started repainting trim, walls, and rentals for friends who trusted us. Word spread. One referral turned into the next, and pretty soon, weekends weren’t enough anymore.

That’s how Brush & Broom LLP was born: not from a business plan, but from real people asking for real help, and from us deciding to say “yes” and show up with everything we had.

Today, every time we walk into a home in Seattle, Kirkland, Bellevue, or anywhere on the Eastside, we remember those first clients who took a chance on us. We still work like we’re earning that trust for the very first time.
Who we are

Meet the team behind the mop and the paint brush

We’re not a giant crew or a franchise. We’re a wife-and-husband team who care about the homes we step into and the people who live in them.

Brittany
Cleaning & client experience

Brittany leads the cleaning side of Brush & Broom LLP and is the reason baseboards, corners, and “forgotten” spots don’t get missed.

She loves the feeling of walking a client through their home after a deep clean and seeing them relax for the first time in a while. Her goal is simple: when you open your front door, you feel lighter just standing there.

Dustin
Painting & operations

Dustin runs the painting and project side—everything from color chats and estimates to making sure the last drop cloth is folded and packed up.

He’s obsessed with clean lines, long-lasting finishes, and communication that never leaves you wondering what’s happening next. If he wouldn’t be proud to show it off as his own house, it’s not finished.

What we believe

Our work is about more than clean floors and fresh paint

A home that feels taken care of can change how you move through your day. We never forget that behind every project is a real life, not just a job ticket.

People over speed

We book what we can do well, not as much as we can squeeze in. We’d rather spend the extra 30 minutes to get it right than rush to the next job.

Homes, not job sites

We remove shoes, protect your space, and clean up after ourselves. When we leave, you should see a home you’re excited to live in—not a work zone.

Straightforward pricing

We explain what things cost and why. No surprise add-ons halfway through, no last-minute pressure, just clear numbers and clear expectations.

Second chances & fresh starts

We believe in giving people and spaces a chance to start over—whether that’s a scuffed-up rental or a room that’s seen a lot of life.

Local roots

We live, work, and raise our family here. When we say we care about Seattle and the Eastside, it’s because this is home for us too.

Pride in the details

The little things—straight lines, wiped trim, tidy edges—are what actually make a room feel finished. We’re not satisfied until those are right.

If you’re looking for “our kind of people,” we might be yours.

Whether you need a deep clean, a fresh coat of paint, or both, we’d love to hear your story, walk your space, and see how we can help.
